Lemur Conspiracy

 A Sheffield based 8-piece playing orignal jazz-funk fusion tunes. With a 3-piece horn section they combine a broad range of influences, such as jazz, afro-beat and dance music, into a fresh new sound reminiscent of many acts within the UK’s thriving contemporary jazz scene. 

Zak Michaud 

Zak Michaud is a musician, producer and composer based in Sheffield. Specializing on the electric bass, he has worked as a session musician for numerous artists around Sheffield and now decided to lead his own band. Taking a modern approach to jazz, he blends warm enveloping harmonies with groove and pocket. He’s joined by Ashly Young on keys, Jack Stott on saxophone and Sam Michaud on the drums. His work is designed especially to let each of these individual musicians truly provide their own voice to the music through their styles and solos.
