The Jamil Sherriff Quartet Jamil has recorded and collaborated with many artists and recorded five albums which have received national and international success.
Jazz UK on Jamil ‘His music is both swinging and sophisticated, Sheriff showing himself to be a constantly inventive arranger…… and just when you think you’ve heard it all, he’ll come up with something fresh”.
The quartet features the talents of Will Howard (saxophone), Sam Quintana (bass) and Steve Hanley (drums) - all known for their own pro-projects around the UK.
At The Jazz Kitchen on the 12th the quartet will be playing a mixture of original compositions and pieces and the work of composers such as Antonio Carlos Jobim, Bill Evans, Kenny Wheeler, John Coltrane and others.
