Steel City Queer History podcast and film launch.

About the Event
Steel City Queer History have teamed up with DINA Venue to develop a podcast and film tour of Sheffield city centre’s hidden LGBTQ+ history!
Join us as we journey through the streets of the city centre with never before seen glimpses of Sheffield’s LGBTQ+ past. You may have wandered the streets of Sheffield many times, but have you ever stopped to wonder what LGBTQ+ people of the past did there, and what stories the streets and buildings of our city hold?
You are invited to join us at the launch event for the tour at DINA, to see an exclusive premiere screening of the film together with the SCQH group, and find out more about the tour. Discover more about the glory days of Sheffield’s music hall scene, the bars and pubs that kept our queer ancestors refreshed and some surprising races that once took place on Fargate! There will be a chance to ask questions and to find out more about Sheffield’s queer heritage.
Tickets available for this event are extremely limited, so act fast if you would like to attend and to be transported through the queer past of Sheffield. Please note that, though the main discussion will take place on the ground floor of DINA, the film itself will be shown in a room without step-free access. If you have questions about access to this event, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
