>>>> NIK COLK VOID

Nik Colk Void is an experimental electronic artist and producer, best known as one half of DFA signings Factory Floor and as one-third of Carter Tutti Void alongside Cosey Fanni Tutti and Chris Carter (Throbbing Gristle / Chris & Cosey).

Void’s interests lie in the development of unconventional encounters with her tool of choice – be it voice, guitar or modular synthesizer – engaging in a new language using extended techniques and cut up sampling. Her execution of sound, united with her “demystification” approach unleashes a pragmatic imbalance allowing the creation of space for ‘mistakes’ paired with aleatoric composition. As a result, she blurs the lines of techno, ambient, avant-garde and noise into a new form.

>> FINLAY SHAKESPERE

Modular synth pop from the Bristol-based musician and engineer. Finlay Shakespeare is an artist that operates in two worlds of electronic music. As the founder of Future Sound Systems, Shakespeare engineers Eurorack modules (including a series based on Chris Carter’s device, The Gristleizer) and standalone synths such as the Brunswick. As an artist, he makes gritty, ’80s-leaning synth pop that sits somewhere between Factory Floor and Depeche Mode.

> STEPHANIE (DJ)

With sets blending commanding techno, brooding EBM and sexy italo, Stephanie creates an all-consuming dance-floor atmosphere. Music for when the light fades and the heat decays. Sounds to sweat to.

Love and Lust co-founder and Kalter synthesist Stephanie is at the forefront of Sheffield's queer scene, running regular nights at Gut Level and appearing at Hope Works, No Bounds Festival, Hatch and Delicious Clam.

Stephanie has supported the likes of Luke Slater, I Hate Models and SPFDJ.
