About the Event

Hoot’s Mon! It’s that time of year again!

Each year at DINA we honour national poet of Scotland and poet of radical verse, Robert Burns. This year though we’re all locked up we’re not locked down, to spur you on bringing a Burns Supper and Ceilidh to your Kitchen including some stellar talents.

The event will take place on Sunday 25th Jan at 4pm and last around two hours. We'll deliver a Burns Supper to your door, a Ceilidh in your Kitchen with music and callers, inc. appearance and performance’s from a host of great musicians and poets.

All the profits from ticket sales will be going to S6 Foodbank https://sheffields6.foodbank.org.uk/ who help people in crisis in our community with 8 foodbanks across Sheffield.

The event also includes a Scottish piper beamed in from Lewis in the Hebrides, Burns poems, music, and a delicious 3 course Burns Night Supper +a raffle sponsored by Reveal Records - https://www.revealrecords.co.uk/ - with Great Music Prizes.

How it works: · We will deliver each household a meal for 2/3 people in Sheffield, delicious starters and pudding, vegan or traditional haggis, neeps and tatties. · Includes whiskey gravy, drams of Highland Park Whiskey, and Scot’s treats! · Full directions for cooking the haggis and veg- all other courses are cooked and prepped· We will link you to the live stream and get you on the kitchen dance floor with a wee dram·

Tickets are £35 for two people (which includes entertainment , the supper, whiskey (or soft drinks) for 2 people! Tickets without the delivery are also available.
