BOXIE presents: WORMBOYS + Brötchen + CeruLean

Bringing their personal brand of scintillating lo-fi goodness are Leeds based Wormboys they'll be calling in to DINA on their way round their regional tour and we can't wait to see them do their thing. 

Wormboys are a queer, moody noise-pop band based in Leeds, UK. We formed when Sop (guitar, vocals) and Harry (guitar, vocals) met whilst studying Physics at the University of Leeds, and bonded over their shared love of fuzzy weird sad-girl music, such as Pixies and Sleater-Kinney. Other influences include PJ Harvey, Dead Moon, and Robbie Williams.

Brötchen

Brötchen make hypnotic, looping, psychedelic dreampop from a basement in Sheffield, from which they are crawling out into the light to share their odes to midsummer love and shamanistic vision quests. They have been likened to Yo La Tengo meets Talking Heads.

Ceru Lean 

An electronic two piece founded in leicester are doing their duo set and we can't wait. Still developing their live sound come see this raw energy evolve on stage.

ACCESSIBILITY: 

DINA

Unfortunately the performance area at DINA is not wheelchair accessible. There is a short staircase with a handrail on  one side. The rest of the performance area is level and bar area is level.  There will be some seating available in the performance area. 

The venue has two main rooms. The upstairs contains the bar, and the second is the downstairs performance area. The performance area will be dark with lighting on the stage area. 

The event will be relatively quiet between acts. The music will start around 7.45pm and be loud and amplified, but you will be able to have a more relaxed experience by listening from the upstairs bar. 

Toilets

There are two single-cubicle toilets available both are gender neutral and there is one disabled toilet available.
